These individual-size meat loaves are a hit in my family. They are filling and hearty with a sweet little sauce drizzled over the top. I usually serve them with a side of potatoes and whatever veggie I have in the fridge.
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- ¾ cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 slices bread, cubed
- ½ cup onion, chopped
- 2 tea salt
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2/3 cup ketchup
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons mustard
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Beat milk and egg in a bowl. Stir in cheese, bread, onion, and salt.
- Add beef and mix well.
- Shape into 8 loaves. Place onto a baking sheet with a cooling rack inserted. Spray with cooking spray to avoid sticking.
- Combine ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spoon over loaves. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
