It is always nice to have a running list of things you would like to do with your spouse. Once kids get added into the mix we can forget how important it is to reconnect with our other half and make intentional time with one another. Our kids feel safe when they can see that mom and dad have a strong relationship. Here are a few suggestions if you are currently feeling uninspired.
- Take a cooking class
- Play a card or board game together after the kids are in bed
- Enjoy a picnic
- Go for a long drive
- Do a couples massage
- Take a dance class
- Have dinner in the backyard
- Home movie night
- Backyard stargazing
- Go on a bike ride
- Go on a walk
- Balloon or water gun fight
- Go bowling

- Go to a coffee shop
Of course the most important thing of all is be present when you spend your time together. Limit time you spend on your phone and reconnect with each other intentionally over and over again.
