This is a great way to add some flare to homemade pancakes, waffles, or even oatmeal. The lemon brightens up the flavor of the blueberries just a bit for the perfect burst of flavor with every bite.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups fresh blueberries
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ tea cornstarch
Directions:
- Combine 2 cups of blueberries, water, sugar, and lemon juice in a small saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Add the rest of the blueberries and sprinkle cornstarch over while you stir. Cook for an additional 8 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Serve warm or cold.
