Pork Milanese with Cream Sauce

This is such a great recipe! Thin breaded pork topped with a creamy lemon and caper sauce.  This is another that is sure to impress.

Sauce Ingredients:
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 5 tbsp mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ cup capers, drained and chopped
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped flat leaf parsley
  • ½ tea salt and pepper
Pork Milanese:
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup bread crumbs 
  • 1 tea onion powder
  • 1 tea garlic powder
  • 8 thin boneless pork chops
  • EVOO
Ingredients:
  1. For the sauce: add all ingredients into medium bowl and set aside.
  2. For Pork Milanese: combine flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.  Crack eggs in separate bowl and lightly beat. In third dish, combine bread crumbs, onion powder, and garlic powder. 
  3. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.  Then dip each in the following order: flour then eggs then bread crumbs.
  4. Warm oil in skillet over medium heat.  When oil is hot place breaded pork in pan and cool until golden and cooked through.

Yields: 8 pork chops Prep time: 15 minutes Cook time: 20 minutes
